Future Forest - Westfield Stratford City 21 July - 3 August and Westfield London 15 - 28 August (admission free)

Bompas & Parr's summer 2017 activation for Westfield Future Forest explores the complex relationship between humans and nature through fun and adventurous activities, cementing Westfield as the destination for all the family this summer.

Visitors to the stunning indoor forest will be taken on an exhilarating journey of discovery that provides insight into the future of nature and its potential role in urban landscapes. With fun activities aimed at all ages, the experience highlights the importance of the future of the forest and the role it will increasingly play in our lives.

At Westfield Stratford City from 21 July to 3 August, guests are invited to walk, tumble and jump on water on the Forest Zorb Lagoon, as well as discover the secret language of trees. Then from 15 to 28 August guests can soar across Westfield London on a zipline.

Plus, at both centres, you’ll discover a fantastical fruit cloud, a mini exhibition showcasing plants that create electricity, the magic of spider silk, and a historic tree circus alongside artefacts, artworks and anecdotes about forests and nature. Everything is designed to inspire guests to consider the environment and the outdoors, as well as relaxation, health and wellbeing.

After visiting Future Forest, it’s hoped that city-dwellers will leave with a deeper understanding of the relevance of the natural world even amid the frenzy of the concrete jungle.
