World Premier of festive pop-up turns on in Birmingham
Journey to the centre of the fairy light with Once Upon A Time In Birmingham, Bompas & Parr’s festive tea parlour, party bar and event space opening in the Bullring & Grand Central on 14th November 2019.
Imagine the spectacle that would occur if an entire city’s fairy lights were garlanded in a single space…The merry and bright installation will not only be illuminating, but also delicious with all the menu items designed to glow or sparkle.
The Christmas installation features 88,000 fairy lights, over 9km of lights and a host of mirrors in a grand sparkling interior. This is more festive lights per square foot than anywhere else in Britain.
You are invited to journey to the glowing heart of the fairy lights.
Come for tea, cocktails, wine, dance or a private party.
Entry is free at all times. However with a ticket you are guaranteed entry, receive a tasty discount on a delicious FESTIVE PUNCH and the option to pre-order drinks with big discounts.
Cocktail & Skip the Queue: Includes a FESTIVE PUNCH (alcoholic or non alcoholic) and entry into Once Upon a Time in Birmingham between 2pm and 6pm or 6pm and 12am.
Festive Tea: A Festive Tea Service at Once Upon a Time in Birmingham with a selection of desserts including the Light Refracting Christmas Pudding.
Please note that Once Upon a Time in Birmingham is a cashless event. All purchases must be made with a credit or debit card.

Rooms can be hired individually or in combinations for larger parties and the venue can be hired exclusively.

Is there a dress code?
Come however you feel comfortable but if you want to get extra festive choose a colour palatte of red, green and silver and lots of sparkles!
What is the age suitability?
The experience is open for all ages until 6pm and is for 18 and up afterwards. To purchase alcohol Challenge 25 will be in operation. You must be 18 to purchase alcohol and all ticket-holders will be required to present appropriate identification. No refunds will be given on advanced alcohol purchases if guests cannot prove they are 18 or older.

Is there food and drink?
There will be a fantastic bar with exclusive cocktails designed for the event as well as a fabulous food offering but food is only available for pre-order for larger groups. Please email email@example.com to enquire. That’s other than the Festive Tea service of course.
I don’t drink alcohol. Can I still come?
Of course! You’ll be given a magical welcome with lots of delicious options for your festive celebration
Is drunkenness tolerated?
Bompas & Parr supports and implements the responsible service of alcohol and any guests who are considered to be acting inappropriately or to be intoxicated will be refused entry or may be asked to leave.
