The Clay House is above The Fabulous Showboat and less than five-minute walk from Turner Contemporary and Margate Train Station. The interiors are made of clay to a palette drawn from J. M. W. Turner’s (1775-1851) depictions of the sunsets above Margate. Joseph Mallord William Turner is described as 'the father of Modern art' by John Ruskin and was a regular visitor to the town from the 1820s onwards.
The apartment has two double bedrooms, one bunkroom and a dramatic double-height living space with cantilevered bath and wood burning stove. Designed to welcome and entertain up to six guests.
