Bompas & Parr and Perrier-Jouët present a botanical odyssey – a walk-through experience where plants and trees physically move in response to your very presence and body movements.

Inspired by Pierre-Nicolas Perrier’s grand glasshouses at Chateau Perrier and Emile Galle’s iconic anemone-covered Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque bottle, designed in 1902, the bio- responsive garden proposes a new level of physical interaction between man and nature.

It’s the ultimate embodiment of a champagne founded amidst the Art Nouveau movement, with its innate blend of nature and human artistry.

Bompas & Parr, working with technological creative laboratory Ten Hertz and theatrical design studio Petra Storrs, has pioneered a new generation of micro-electronic sensors, to physically animate these evolutionary organics.

Enter, explore and interact: as you move around the space, you will discover botanical curiosities that bend, reflect and follow your every move. From the Enchanted Corridor, seek out the Dancing Tree and reflect on the Green Mirror: a Bioresponsive Living Wall.

Listen too for how your own interaction with the plants affects a soundscape generated by the changes in their bio-electrical output.

Along the way, we invite you to wonder of nature and human ingenuity that produces each glass of Perrier-Jouët champagne.
