Baileys Christmas at The Bar at Home

A cosy Christmas moment in the heart of Soho

London, 2025:

Bompas & Parr partnered with Diageo to transform The Bar at Home at Diageo’s London headquarters into a rich and inviting Christmas destination centred on Baileys. Designed to capture the warmth and generosity of the festive season, the installation combined theatrical set design, sensory indulgence and playful brand interaction.

At the heart of the experience was Baileys Classic Rich Hot Chocolate, developed in Bompas & Parr’s London kitchen. Each cup blended creamy milk hot chocolate with Baileys Original Irish Cream and was finished with a swirl of toasted Italian meringue, prepared and toasted fresh for every serve. The result was a luxurious winter treat that balanced visual drama with comforting flavour, inviting guests to pause, sip and savour.

Extending the experience beyond the interior, Bompas & Parr also designed two bespoke festive window installations to draw attention from the street and amplify the seasonal spectacle. One featured a golden spinning wheel revolving around a bottle of Baileys Original Irish Cream, creating a hypnotic celebration of the brand’s signature serve. The second showcased Baileys’ special edition collaboration with Terry's Chocolate Orange, with spinning discs wrapped in the iconic orange foil circling the bottle to echo the product’s distinctive flavour and festive appeal. Together, the windows acted as kinetic invitations, animating the façade and enticing passers-by into the experience.

The space was anchored by a giant Baileys Christmas tree, complete with wrapped presents and a dedicated photo moment designed to encourage sharing and celebration. Alongside the tasting experience, visitors were invited to take part in a festive tombola mechanic. After purchasing a bottle of Baileys, guests could spin to select a bauble, with gold baubles unlocking prizes from the Baileys gifting range, all displayed beneath the tree. New prizes were introduced daily, encouraging repeat visits and sustained engagement across the activation period.

Running across multiple dates in November and December, the experience welcomed hundreds of visitors each day, with 300 complimentary hot chocolate samples available daily. Blending flavour development, immersive design and interactive gifting, Baileys Christmas at The Bar at Home delivered a memorable seasonal moment that brought the brand’s indulgent spirit to life in a warm, generous and distinctly festive way.
