Celebrating all those who fetishise food

London, 2016: When we first set up Bompas & Parr, one of the first enquiries we received asked whether we catered for splosh parties – where food is fetishised and becomes a crucial ingredient in sexual gratification.

The answer was no, however, the exchange provided inspiration for this photography of people sitting on cakes, in collaboration with fashion photographer Jo Duck. The photos are paired with a sensual film by Bompas & Parr, both alarming and intriguing in equal measure.
