Dinner at the Twits

A gloriously gruesome interactive theatrical dining experience held in the dank vaults beneath Waterloo station.
Dinner at the Twits

Exploring our collective fascination with disgust

London, 2016: Bompas & Parr collaborated with interactive theatre group Les Enfants Terribles to present a dining experience with a difference: attendees were guests of Roald Dahl's most revolting protagonists, Mr and Mrs Twit.

Set inside the appalling characters' windowless house it was a grown-up journey down memory lane that was not for the faint of heart or soft of stomach, promising a range of theatrical moments that recreated the vibe of these most notorious characters.

The reinvention of these horrid hosts into society darlings also saw the studio collaborate with prop makers Creature of London and live entertainment company ebp as part of the celebrations marking Roald Dahl's 100th birthday.

The studio conceptualised all the food and drink – a gruesome medley of disgusting dishes washed down with Mr Twit's horrible homemade cocktails.
