House of Lime
Translating flavour research into a multi-sensory, collaborative experience
Mexico City, 2026: Bompas & Parr partnered with Givaudan to create the House of Lime, an immersive environment designed to support collaboration, experimentation and product development within the company’s Taste & Wellbeing division.
Located in Givaudan’s Mexico City offices, the project centres on a two-day customer experience that brings together flavour science, sourcing expertise and sensory design. At its core is a 360° projection space, where shifting digital environments frame a guided exploration of lime, from its agricultural origins to its evolving role within global food and beverage culture.
The experience is structured as a sequence of interactive sessions, combining presentations, tastings and hands-on development. Visitors engage directly with Givaudan’s multidisciplinary teams, using proprietary tools and insights to shape new flavour concepts in real time. Food and drink act as both medium and prompt, offering a practical route into discussion, iteration and refinement.
Bompas & Parr were responsible for shaping the overall experience design, integrating narrative, spatial choreography and sensory cues to support Givaudan’s co-creation model. Rather than presenting a fixed exhibition, the House of Lime operates as a working environment, where ideas are tested, adjusted and accelerated towards application.
The project reflects a broader shift in how flavour is communicated and developed, moving from presentation to participation. By combining immersive design with live product development, the House of Lime positions lime not simply as an ingredient, but as a point of departure for future-facing innovation.
