London, 2024: Bompas & Parr were enlisted by creative agency Wieden+Kennedy to help bring to life a playful, planet-friendly collaboration between Malibu and Oatly – two iconic brands rewriting the rules of indulgence. The result? A vibrant new format for fun: the Piña Oatlada, a dairy-free, alcoholic soft serve, served in the world’s first entirely edible cocktail cone.
This multisensory innovation was the centerpiece of a pop-up at Paradise Arches, which delivered a maximalist, adult summer dream – complete with DJ sets, drag bingo, karaoke, and of course, cones.
At the heart of the experience was a feat of food innovation: the edible cocktail cone, designed and developed by Bompas & Parr. Engineered to hold a chilled alcoholic soft serve without compromise, the cone delivered structural integrity, sustainability, and standout flavour. A fully edible vessel, it eliminated waste while deepening the immersive food experience.
With the cone as its hero, the Piña Oatlada became a creamy fusion of Malibu’s signature tropical coconut rum and Oatly’s luscious plant-based base, creating an ice-cold throwback to carefree holidays.
