A celebration of AlUla’s cultural heritage

Saudi Arabia, 2023: Bompas & Parr designed and produced thoughtfully designed environments to celebrate the rich cultural inheritance of AlUla's communities, inspired by the life and memory of the local people.

Nestled within areas of the Oasis guests could explore, have fun, play and learn together through food and drink. Oasis Picnic was designed to promote inter-generational discovery and connection, with the stories, craft and character of AlUla flowing through different picnic hampers in the Oasis.

The ‘Life & Memory Chest’ was filled with curated objects, interactive storytelling elements and delicious food inspired by AlUla. The ‘Ancestral Hampers’ were an extraordinary micro dining picnic experience for the esteemed guests of the Oasis.
