Creative Producer

The Creative Producer at Bompas & Parr plays a pivotal role in supporting the production and execution of innovative and experiential projects, supporting the Project and Creative team from initial concept through to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Contribution & Development

  • Act as a key creative contributor in the studio, supporting the development of projects from initial ideation through to final execution.
  • Contribute to the creative response to client briefs, working with the Creative Director to develop and pitch, buildable concepts that are culturally sharp and push creative boundaries.
  • Collaborate with the creative and design teams to help shape the narrative, audience journey, and key interactive moments of each experience.
  • Bring innovative production techniques, materials, and technologies to the table, constantly seeking new ways to realise ambitious creative ideas.
  • Champion the creative integrity of projects, ensuring the core vision is protected and enhanced throughout the production process.

Production & Delivery

  • Manage the end-to-end production of a diverse range of projects, including immersive installations, brand activations, and large-scale events, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
  • Support Project Directors in all aspects of project delivery, including budgeting, scheduling, supplier sourcing and management, logistics, and on-site installation.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, partners, and internal teams, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assemble and manage world-class project teams, including freelance specialists, technicians, and fabricators.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and own project compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Oversee all production documentation and support post-project reconciliation and reporting.

About You

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience (2-4 years) in a producer role within the events, experiential marketing, or creative production industry.
  • A strong portfolio of successfully delivered high-impact live events and immersive experiences that demonstrates creative flair and production excellence.
  • Experience in budget creation and management, with a track record of delivering projects within financial constraints.
  • Experience in sourcing and managing a wide range of suppliers and contractors.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A natural problem-solver with the ability to think on your feet and adapt to changing environments.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team.

Creative Skills

  • A strong narrative instinct and the ability to think structurally about audience experience.
  • Confidence contributing to ideation sessions and shaping creative direction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling pitch documents and present ideas with clarity and passion.
  • A deep understanding of the creative process and the ability to collaborate effectively with other creative professionals.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working with food and beverage-led concepts.
  • Knowledge of fabrication, construction, and AV/technical production.

General

  • To undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required
  • To be able to speak knowledgeably and articulately about all aspects of the work of Bompas & Parr and to support the organisation’s principal aims and objectives
  • To communicate regularly and effectively with the Directors and to seek support from appropriate staff at the earliest opportunity should problems arise

Please note, due to the nature of the role you will be expected to work occasional evenings and weekends. There may also be the requirement to travel internationally.

Summary of terms and conditions 

  • Salary band £35,000 – £42,000 depending on experience
  • This is full time permanent position with a 6 Month probationary period
  • The post is based in Bompas & Parr’s studio in Barbican
