Creative Social Content Producer
The Creative Social Content Producer will originate and make standout, highly shareable content for Bompas & Parr, growing our audience, reach, engagement and cultural relevance.
Objectives for the Role
The Role
We are looking for a highly creative, hands-on content producer who can originate irresistible social ideas and bring them to life.
You will concept, make, style, film, photograph, edit, write and publish platform-native content designed to be watched, shared and talked about. From creating an extraordinary food moment for camera to capturing an installation, experiment or behind-the-scenes story, you will proactively find and make the content rather than wait to be handed a brief.
You will have an exceptional instinct for what performs on Instagram and TikTok, backed by a portfolio of original, culturally relevant and highly shareable work.
Working with the Cultural Programme & Engagement Manager and Creative Director, you will translate the wider social strategy into a consistent pipeline of distinctive content. The role will also support wider editorial and PR activity, helping turn the studio’s projects, ideas and expertise into stories that generate cultural and media attention.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Proactively originate and pitch social-first ideas inspired by Bompas & Parr’s projects, people, cultural programme and areas of expertise.
- Take ideas from concept to publication, including planning, making and styling, filming, photography, editing, copywriting and publishing.
- Create original short-form video, photography, graphics and written content for Instagram and TikTok, adapting the strongest ideas for YouTube, LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
- Where relevant, create and style food, props, practical experiments and visually arresting moments specifically for camera.
- Independently capture project development, behind-the-scenes activity, events, installations, launches and people using phones and cameras, with confident use of lighting and sound.
- Develop strong hooks, formats, pacing and narratives designed to generate watch time, completion, shares, saves and organic conversation.
- Translate complex creative, cultural, scientific and technical ideas into accessible stories while maintaining a strong and recognisable studio voice.
- Repurpose existing assets where useful, while prioritising distinctive original content that can only come from inside the studio.
- Maintain a regular and proactive content cadence, including daily publishing across agreed key platforms.
Social & Audience Growth
- Lead the day-to-day execution of social content for Bompas & Parr, Clay House, Benham & Froud and BMOF.
- Work with the Cultural Programme & Engagement Manager and Creative Director to translate the agreed social strategy into creative formats, campaigns and daily content.
- Manage the social content calendar across the studio’s projects, brand partnerships, arts and events programme, reports, inspiration and behind-the-scenes activity.
- Develop recognisable recurring formats, series and campaigns that grow and diversify the studio’s audiences.
- Monitor trends, cultural moments, emerging platforms and creator activity, responding quickly with relevant and original ideas.
- Use analytics and audience insight to test, learn and continually improve creative output and performance.
- Work closely with creatives and project teams so that important studio activity is captured and translated into content.
Editorial, PR & Communications
- Contribute content and ideas for newsletters, the website, press materials and other editorial communications.
- Work with the Cultural Programme & Engagement Manager, creatives and project teams to identify compelling stories across the studio’s work and ideas.
- Identify relevant creator, influencer and cultural-partnership opportunities that could extend the reach of the content.
- Support relationships with journalists, creators, influencers, cultural partners and external collaborators where relevant to the content.
